BRU-1 Hop Profile

Developed in collaboration with John I. Haas and Brulotte Farms, BRU-1™ goes big and bold with pineapple flavor and clean bittering (13-15%). BRU-1™ is known for its distinct pineapple aroma, rounded out by green fruit (like pears and apples) and fresh cut grass. BRU-1™ plays well with other hops, adding a tropical vibe to hops like Citra, Chinook and other fruit-forward varieties. Throw it in any crushable ale style, especially a hazy IPA — BRU-1™ has been shown to improve haze stability!

BRU-1 HOP SUBSTITUTIONS 

BRU-1 has lots of similar characteristics as Vic Secret and Talus, making them the perfect substitutions. Both hops are very fruity, pineapple forward, and great for dry hopping. Use Vic Secret or Talus in your next beer!
