Australian HPA-4029 Hop Profile

HPA-4029 is a new experimental hop from HPA's "Next in Bine" breeding program. Bred in 2004, HPA-4029 is a result of cross-pollination of high-alpha Australian hops, Eastern Gold (Japan), and Southern Brewer (South Africa). After consistently producing strong yields in field trials since 2011, this Australian experimental is now ready for broader commercial brewing trials worldwide. Notes of pineapple, passionfruit and grapefruit create "an estery tropical fruit bomb," well-suited for a wide range hop bills and beer styles like pale ales and IPAs. A dynamic tropical profile for expressive beers, characteristic of many Aussie varieties.
